WHAT IS THE RPG ENGINE?

The RPG Engine is a game engine that allows you to create a wide variety of text based adventures with 2D battle maps that other players all around the world can then download and play!

The Engine consists of two softwares that can both be started using the launcher:

Launcher

In the launcher, you can select what version of the creator or player you want to download and run and manage general things!

Create adventures

Here, you can create your own adventure. Make sure to read the documentation before starting!
You can submit your adventures using the community manager in the launcher!

Play adventures

Install or download adventures using the community manager in the launcher and play them using this part of the software!

About me

I'm Yan Wittmann, the creator of the RPG Engine.
The engine is a project I've been working on for almost an entire year and took hundreds of hours to complete. But now it's here and you can use it to create or play adventures!
It was a lot of fun nontheless and I definetely learned a lot of things creating it. I hope you have just as much fun using it.
